Imagine Times Square’s giant screens all syncing to a single skincare countdown. That’s the innovative premise of this Lancôme cgi video featuring the Absolue Longevity MD collection. The video unfolds as the scene opens on the intersection of Houston Street and Lafayette Street in SoHo, New York City, where a corner building is covered in tiled posters arranged in neat rows and columns, forming what looks like one large billboard; the alternating tiles show a glowing red pill at the center while darker tiles surround it, and as the camera slowly zooms in, some of the posters reveal a woman holding the luminous pill while other tiles show blacked-out product silhouettes with only the red pills glowing, and on the tiles with the woman, the text WHAT IF YOU COULD CHOOSE YOUR AGE appears before, in a synchronized moment, all of the posters light up at once so the previously dark product tiles become fully visible, revealing the Absolue Longevity MD skincare products beside the text THE CIRCLE OF LONGEVITY MD, then the camera pulls back to show the complete grid of posters as a new line, JOIN THE CIRCLE NOW, fades in next to a QR code, and the shot continues to widen until the full intersection comes into view with pedestrians walking along the sidewalks and cars passing by, suggesting a sense of lasting beauty rising above the everyday motion of the city. Using captivating computer generated graphics, this Lancôme cgi video transforms a familiar SoHo street corner into an engaging product showcase.
