Cat Drifts Out of Screen and Gets Pulled Back
Cross Shinjuku Vision: Cat Drifts Out of Screen
A rainbow-coloured television test card in the shape of a cat face, with 'TV' overlaying the colours, appears on the Cross Shinjuku Vision billboard. The digital clock rapidly cycles to 15:00, accompanied by loading visuals. The cat face grows long whiskers that stretch beyond the billboard as the logo twirls and the background shifts to full TV static with grey side panels. Text in Japanese and English reads 'zero gravity', and the screen transitions to a grey, black, and white puzzle map.
A butterfly drifts in as a cat silhouette watches. The cat’s paw punches through the map, and an orange, black, and white cat with a red collar bursts forward, floating and turning upside down with blue letters drifting behind it. The cat appears to lose balance, drifting beyond the billboard, then is suddenly pulled into a hole on the side along with the letters, leaving a white screen. The letters fall to form 'CROSS', followed by the cat dropping in, as the top of the billboard closes, with the cat’s tail still extending beyond the edge.
The cat later sits on all fours, looks down, yawns, pauses, looks around, then lowers its head. The screen fades to black, returning to the TV signal cat with 'TV' text, followed by Japanese and English text reading 'Cat’s Talk', as the whiskers stretch beyond the billboard once more. The cat appears again as if jumping forward, and the sequence ends with the Cross Shinjuku Vision text on screen.
