DUST TO DUST - Dyson V15 Detect

What if the monsters under your bed were terrified of your vacuum? DUST TO DUST reimagines the Dyson V15 Detect through an ’80s-inspired horror-comedy game world. Beneath an ordinary bedroom, a secret civilisation of dustlings, scrap-armoured knights and their towering Dust Mother has flourished undetected. Then their world meets its greatest nightmare: someone cleaning. The woman becomes the player, her bedroom becomes the level, and the Dyson becomes her legendary equipment. The green reveal, gameplay perspectives, HUD and final boss encounter turn an everyday chore into a cinematic showdown. The twist is perspective: what feels like victory for the player is a monster movie for the dust. Created for FOOH’s Gamified Advertising challenge, this unofficial Dyson spec ad combines Halloween atmosphere, microscopic world-building and absurd humour.
