Swarovski x The Sims

This 3D animation was inspired by the connection between Swarovski’s iconic crystals and the plumbob, the crystal that appears above the characters’ heads in The Sims, bringing together two seemingly different worlds. To further highlight this connection, I reimagined the Swarovski logo by replacing the crystal shape surrounding the swan with the silhouette of the plumbob from The Sims. The idea of displaying a character’s needs through both an interface and the color of the crystal was also inspired by The Sims. I also recreated the gradient background from the "Create a Sim" mode in The Sims 4. The Swarovski pieces featured in this animation are the Green Matrix Tennis Necklace and Bracelet. The animation features my original 3D character, which I created based on my own appearance. Adobe Illustrator was used to create some of the details, while Blender was used for 3D modeling, animation, and compositing.
