Creating and managing collections
Create, edit, share, annotate, and collaborate on collections of library entries.
Collections are boards of library entries — references for a pitch, a moodboard per client, inspiration by effect. They live at Account → Collections.
Creating one
Click New Collection, give it a name (up to 64 characters) and an optional description (up to 160 characters). Done — now you can save entries into it from anywhere in the library.
Managing a collection
Open a collection from the list to see its entries. From there you can:
- Edit the name and description.
- Remove entries individually.
- Reorder entries — drag an entry and drop it where it should sit (desktop). The order is saved automatically and is what visitors see on the public page too.
- Toggle visibility — collections are private by default; make one public to share it.
- Share — once a collection is public, a Share Link button appears and copies its link (
fooh.com/collections/<id>, an opaque id that doesn't reveal anything) to your clipboard. Anyone with the link can view it, no account needed. - Delete the collection. You'll be asked to confirm — the collection and all its saved items are permanently deleted. The work itself stays in the library; only your collection and its saved references go away.
The collection cards on the overview show a preview of the latest saves plus how many shots and creators are in each one.
Notes on saved entries
Every entry in a collection can carry a short note — why you saved it, what to use it for, a reminder for the team. Open a collection, hit Add note under an entry, type up to 500 characters, and save. The note shows under the entry, and on the public page if the collection is shared by link.
Sharing a collection with people
Collections can have collaborators — people who co-own the collection with you. Open a collection and click Share with people, then invite someone by email.
- They get an invite (by email and at the top of their own Collections page) and join once they accept.
- Not on FOOH yet? No problem. If the email doesn't belong to a FOOH account, we send them an invite to join — as soon as they sign up with that address, your invite is waiting for them. Until then they show in the collaborators panel as "Invited — not on FOOH yet", and you can revoke the invite there any time.
- Collaborators can do almost everything you can — add, remove, reorder and annotate entries, rename it, and invite others — except delete it, remove you, or change whether it's public. Making a collection public (or private again) stays with you, the owner.
- Shared collections show up under Shared with you on each collaborator's Collections page. Anyone can Leave a shared collection; the owner can Remove a collaborator from the collaborators panel.
The Liked collection
The auto-managed Liked collection sits alongside your own but can't be edited, shared, or deleted — it simply mirrors everything you've hearted.
