Getting job updates by email

Subscribe to new creative jobs, change how often you hear from us, and unsubscribe — no FOOH account needed.

You don't need an account to hear about new jobs. The panel on the job board — and at the bottom of every job page — signs you up for job updates: new CGI, VFX, motion and AI video roles, by email.

Browsing the board and reading a listing never require a subscription. Applying still asks you to sign in, exactly as before.

Signing up

  1. Pick how often you want to hear from us:
    • Weekly — one email a week with the newest jobs. This is preselected.
    • As jobs go live — an email each time new jobs are published, grouped so a batch of jobs is one message, not five.
  2. Enter your email address. A name is optional and only used for the greeting.
  3. Press Get job updates.

Nothing is stored until you press the button, and nothing is sent until you confirm.

Confirming your address

We email you a confirmation link. Open it and press Confirm job updates — that click is what starts the updates. Until then you get no job emails at all.

  • The link works for 24 hours, and an unconfirmed request expires after seven days. If yours has run out, just sign up again from the job board.
  • Pressing the same link twice changes nothing. One address is one subscription, however many times you ask.
  • If you're signed in to FOOH with a verified email address and you subscribe with that same address, you're subscribed straight away — we already know the mailbox is yours.

Changing the frequency or unsubscribing

Every job email carries a manage your job updates link at the bottom. It opens your preferences with no login: switch between Weekly and As jobs go live, or unsubscribe.

Three things that work the way you'd want them to:

  • Asking again doesn't change your settings. If you fill in the panel with an address that's already subscribed, we don't touch your frequency — we email you your preferences link instead. Only somebody who can read that mailbox gets to change it.
  • An old email can't undo a newer decision. If you unsubscribe and then open a confirmation link from before, it won't put you back on the list.
  • Coming back needs a fresh confirmation. The preferences link has no "start again" button on purpose — it sits in every job email we ever sent you, and a forwarded copy shouldn't be able to undo your opt-out. Sign up again from the job board and open the new confirmation link; nothing restarts until you do.

Open the expired link anyway and press Send me a new link — it goes to the same address, and nothing has been sent to you in the meantime.

What this is not

Job updates are separate from everything else:

  • They're not the FOOH newsletter. Subscribing to one never subscribes you to the other.
  • They're not a FOOH account. Signing up for job updates creates no account, and creating an account never subscribes you. If you later create an account with the same address, it stays one subscription — you're never counted or emailed twice.
  • Unsubscribing here stops job updates only. Your account and any other FOOH emails are untouched; those live in your email preferences.
