Reporting a job
Tell FOOH when a job is closed, its apply link is dead, it looks fake, or something else is wrong. No account needed.
Every live job and project page has a quiet Report this job button under the Apply card. Use it when something about the listing is wrong. You don't need a FOOH account, and nobody else sees your report.
Sending a report
- Open the job's page and press Report this job.
- Pick what's wrong:
- The job is closed — the employer isn't hiring for it any more.
- The apply link is dead — Apply leads to an error, an empty page or the wrong job.
- It looks fake — for example, it asks you for money, bank details or a deposit.
- Something else — anything else about the listing that's wrong.
- If you like, add a short note (up to 500 characters) saying what you saw. It's read as plain text.
- Press Send report. You'll see a thank-you right there on the page.
Press Cancel to close the form without sending anything.
What happens next
- Closed and dead-link reports on a job FOOH collected from an employer's careers page are checked straight away: FOOH reads the employer's careers page again. If the employer has closed the job, it leaves the board on its own and its page says so, the same as when FOOH finds a closed job itself. If the careers page still lists it, a person on the FOOH team looks at your report.
- Every other report, and every report on a job a company posted itself, goes to the FOOH team.
We don't email you about your report, and the company never learns who sent it.
One report per job
You can report a job once. If you report the same job again, you'll see the same thank-you, but your first report is the one we keep. When you're signed in, that counts for your account on every device. To stop spam, there's also a limit on how many reports can come from one place in a few minutes. If you hit it, wait a little and try again.
A job that has already left the board can't be reported, because there's nothing left on the board to fix. For how listings end, see Finding jobs and projects.
