Playlist Drop

Playlist Drop is a concept game for Spotify that turns playlist creation into a Tetris-inspired experience. Album covers fall from the top of the screen, and the player has to arrange, match, and collect them to build a playlist in real time. Instead of simply browsing through recommendations, users discover music through play — reacting quickly, making unexpected combinations, and turning the familiar act of playlist curation into an interactive challenge. The visual language combines Spotify’s signature green with CRT screens, digital noise, glitches, and retro computer interfaces, creating the feeling of an old arcade game running inside a modern music platform.
