Account types explained
The seven creator types you can pick, what each means, and where to set yours.
Your account type tells brands what kind of creator you are at a glance. You pick one during onboarding, and you can change it any time on the General tab of your profile.
The seven types
- Studio — an established team with its own name and body of work.
- Freelancer — a solo creator working under your own name.
- Agency — you handle strategy and production across clients.
- Production Company — full-scale shoots and post, often with crew.
- AI Production Team — a team built around generative and AI-driven workflows.
- Creative Collective — a loose group of creators who collaborate on projects.
- Other — none of the above. Pick this and a text box appears so you can type your own label in your own words.
Where it shows up
Your type appears on your public profile, so a brand reading your page knows immediately whether they're looking at a one-person shop or a full studio.
It also feeds the filters in the talent directory. Brands browsing for help can narrow by type — so picking the one that fits means the right people find you, and the wrong ones don't waste your time.
If you're unsure, go with the closest match. You can always switch later; it's a single dropdown and a Save Changes away.
