American Eagle Jeans Take Shape on Screen
Denim Stitched on a City Billboard
Blue panels form a screen, displaying 'AMERICAN EAGLE' on one side and 'live your life' on the other. From the centre edge, balls of blue thread emerge, then retract and transform into a sheet of denim fabric. This denim is fed into a large rolling system that extends beyond the billboard, continuously moving.
As the fabric rolls forward, two sewing needles descend and stitch along the edges, forming a pocket that attaches to the denim. A large pair of shears cuts the material, and as the rolling system fades, a branded button with the American Eagle label emerges and presses into the denim. The fabric then becomes a full pair of jeans, with the lower legs untwisting and the entire piece rotating, guided by robotic arms that showcase the back and sides.
The jeans retract into the screen, and the display closes back into blue panels, once again showing 'AMERICAN EAGLE' and 'live your life'.
