American Eagle Jeans Take Shape on Screen
Blue panels form the screen, with AMERICAN EAGLE on one side and “live your life” on the other. From the center edge, balls of blue thread emerge outward, then pull back and transform into a sheet of denim fabric. The denim is fed into a large rolling system, extending beyond the billboard as it continuously moves. As the fabric rolls forward, two sewing needles descend and begin stitching along the edges, forming a pocket that attaches onto the denim. A large pair of shears cuts the material, and as the rolling system fades, a branded button with the American Eagle label emerges outward, then presses into the denim. The fabric becomes a full pair of jeans, with the lower legs untwisting and the entire piece rotating, guided by robotic arms that showcase the back and sides. The jeans retract into the screen, and the display closes back into blue panels with AMERICAN EAGLE and “live your life.”
