Imagine a bustling city crossroads suddenly becoming a gateway to the wild. That’s the innovative premise of this Wir Berlin vfx advertising featuring a transformed view of Kottbusser Tor. The video unfolds as the scene opens with a familiar look at Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, before the camera quickly pans right and comes to rest on the Kottbusser Tor U-Bahn station where a man walks down toward the entrance; as the person holding the camera puts on a pair of glasses, the surroundings subtly shift from a dense city setting into nature while the subway entrance remains unchanged, then the camera tilts up to a bright sky where birds drift overhead before moving left and right to reveal trees and greenery replacing the former urban environment, after which the view returns to the station entrance and moves closer until the screen briefly glitches as if something is breaking through and, out of the flickering static, a male deer emerges at the entrance, holding there for a moment as the interference fills the frame and underlining Wir Berlin’s idea of reimagining Kottbusser Tor through nature and the contrast between foliage and concrete. Using engaging CGI effects, this Wir Berlin vfx advertising transforms the Kottbusser Tor station into a distinctive product showcase.
