The North Face Giant Paraglider Lands in Taipei

This faux out-of-home advertisement opens with a wide shot of Taipei 101 and the Vieshow Cinemas building. Several paragliders, dressed in black and yellow cold-weather suits, glide across the city skyline. One enlarged paraglider then lands directly in front of the camera, sitting on the ground in a heavily insulated suit.

As the paraglider lands, the urban facade behind him gradually freezes over, and light snow begins to fall. Other paragliders continue to glide through the sky, past a large brand billboard. The video concludes with a black background displaying The North Face logo, the “EXPEDITION SYSTEM” title, and Chinese text detailing a special Himalayan down parka anniversary event in Taipei.
