Imagine an airport lounge daydream blurring into a real flight adventure. That’s the captivating premise of this Emirates mixed reality ad featuring a toy plane that seamlessly becomes a full-size aircraft. The video unfolds as Lenny Bartolomaus sits at his computer desk, holding a small Emirates model airplane while looking into the camera, then gently sets the toy in front of his desktop PC, whose wallpaper shows soft white clouds in an afternoon sky; as he nudges the toy closer to the screen, the camera pushes in and the model transitions into a real Emirates jet soaring through the clouds, gliding past the lens before the scene shifts to an expansive city view where buildings carry Emirates and “1 Billion Summit” banners, until the frame pulls back again to reveal that this entire journey has been playing on Lenny’s desktop monitor, the toy once more resting on his desk as he picks it up and presents it to the camera, tying a childhood vision to the possibility of real-world travel. Using dynamic CGI, this Emirates mixed reality ad transforms a simple desk setup into an imaginative product showcase.
